Money (1973)

This was Pink Floyd's first Top 20 hit in the United States. It reached #13 on the Billboard singles chart. The song is featured on the classic album "Dark Side Of The Moon." Ironically "Money" did not chart in the UK which is the band's native country.

Comfortably Numb (1979)

One of Pink Floyd's most famous songs, and is renowned especially for its ultra-smooth guitar solos in the middle and at the end of the song. In 2004, the song was ranked number 314 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Most of the music for "Comfortably Numb" was written by David Gilmour, who originally recorded the instrumental demo during the latter stages of recording his first solo album, hoping to find some later use for it. 

Learning To Fly (1987)

From the album "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" the first to feature the later 3 piece line-up of David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright.

The lyrics describe David Gilmour's passion for flying.

Keep Talking (1994)

David Gilmour has said "Keep Talking" is about solving our problems through discussion." Physicist Stephen Hawkings voice is sampled throughout the song. One of the most striking features of the song is the use of talk box guitar effect.

Louder Than Words (2014)

Written by David Gilmour and his wife Polly Samson from the album "The Endless River," which is Pink Floyd's first studio album in 20 years. The lyric is a tribute to Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright who passed away in Spetember 2008.

Blue Light (1984)

The first single release from David Gilmour's second solo album "About Face." The song was a marginal hit reaching #62 on the US singles chart.

Sunset Strip (1987)

From Roger Waters' second solo album 1987's "Radio Kaos." The song made it to #15 on Billboard's US Mainstream Rock chart.
